GOLD FILLED

Gold filled is the next level and is an amazing, quality alternative to solid gold. Unlike gold plated, gold filled is formed from a mechanical bonding process that melts solid gold onto the base metal. Gold filled jewelry contains 5% solid gold which means the gold coating is much thicker than that of plated or vermeil jewelry.

Gold Vermeil

Vermeil jewelry has recently become quite popular as it achieves a similar look to 14-karat gold without the high costs involved. Gold vermeil is pure sterling silver metal with a thick gold coating. Our jewels are dipped in 14-karat gold and e-coated to ensure the products longer lifespan. Vermeil jewelry is perfect for the average consumer because it allows them to buy fashionable, high-quality pieces at an affordable price.

Freshwater Pearls

We carefully select cultured pearls from oysters and freshwater mussels. Pearls are sensitive in nature, so avoid chemicals or excessive temperatures.

CARE

Our jewelry are tarnish resistant, waterproof and hypoallergenic. It is safe to wear YUMIYU jewelry in water and exercise. However, please try to keep it away from chemical materials such as perfume. When the jewelry gets wet or dirty, clean it with a dry cloth and leave it to air dry. 

  • Avoid direct contact with perfume, body lotions, hair sprays or other chemicals.
  • Clean your jewelry with a soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt it has acquired.
  • Be sure your jewelry is completely dry before storing in your YUMIYU Pouch.
